D-Max Export Import (P) Ltd. is a new identity for our India venture started in 2007 but the Apparel Belt, Fabric, Garment Accessories and Fashion Accessories are not new to us, we have been manufacturing and supplying these products from China for the last 30 years. Started as Sunrise Belts Incorporated in the USA in 1986 we started manufacturing Apparel belts for garment manufacturers in New York USA, with 6 machines and 3 employees. From this humble beginning between 1986 to1991 we grew to 400 machines and 250 employees strong all dedicated to the art of Belt manufacturing. Due to customer demand and pricing pressures in the US we were forced to move our production base to China in 1992, since China was not fully open to Foreigners at the time we set up office in Hong Kong and out sourced all the production to China. In 1994 China opened up and we set up base in Guangzhou China. 1992-1999 were very fruitful years sales soared and the company had grown to 600 employees strong and sales touching 30 million US Dollars. Thanks to our loyal customers like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sears, JC Penny and many others that gave us the opportunity to ship to their customers in over 32 countries. Late 1999 we saw the great slum in the garment trade and sales started dropping. Between 1999-2003 we tried our hand at many new ventures and different business opportunities but with little success. Until finally in 2004 we came back to the trade we knew best and had a passion for Belts and Garment accessories. Following India s growth and success story over the past decade, led to the creation of D-Max Export Import (P) Ltd in 2007. In the last 2 years we have managed to gain 10-15% market share in the Imported apparel belt segment for domestic consumption, though our goal is much higher we hope to achieve 30%+ market share in the next 3-5 years thanks to our customers
